ObjectStore Java client · v0.0.8

The ObjectStore Java client is a small, synchronous S3-compatible library built with JDK 21 alone. It uses path-style URLs and AWS Signature Version 4. The public API in this section matches the v0.0.8 source.

Start with installation and connection, then choose a task:

• Read, write, delete, and list objects
• Upload large files and resume multipart sessions
• Read and replace bucket or object ACLs
• Discover capabilities without assuming vendor support
• Handle failures and close resources
• Look up every public method and result type
• Try the AWT image manager example

The client does not implement presigned URLs, credential providers, automatic retries, region redirects, streaming uploads of unknown length, or the entire S3 API. The service and the client have separate capability sets.
